With the new release of the multi-user, you will be able to manage different roles and responsibilities for each of your teammates and invite them all to enjoy the beauty of RentYourNest!

Where to find Roles and Rights?

To find the section where to invite new people and assign them specific roles, go to the Settings section (grey gear icon on the top right of your screen) and then on 'Users/API management' from the menu on the left.

Here you will be able to:

  • invite new people. You can do it from the 'Invite User' green button on the top right

  • add and edit the roles of each person, in order for you to hide or not allow them to edit specific sections.

    • you find this possibility from the little 'key' icon colored in blue on the right of each invited person

What can I do with Roles and Rights?

For each person, you will be able to give viewing and/or editing access to specific sections of RentYourNest.

More specifically:

  • Homepage and performance metrics. This section represents the homescreen of RentYourNest. Giving access to this section means allowing people to see the main metrics of your business.

  • Properties. By giving viewing or editing rights to this section, the person will be able to see and edit the Properties section

    • be careful, to add and/or edit leases, as well as to generate lease agreements, you will also have to give them the editing rights to the Availability section

  • Tenants. By giving viewing or editing rights to this section, the person will be able to see and edit the Tenants' section

    • be careful, to add and/or edit leases, as well as to generate lease agreements, you will also have to give them the editing rights to the Availability section

  • Owners. This section is specific for those who manage owners, or also for you to give access to your owners as well!

    • be careful, to view the payments and margins section related to the owners you need to give them the editing rights to the Payments section

  • Availability. This section is for people in charge of the acquisition. For them, it is safe to give access also to the Channel Manager section, but you can work also without

*Bonus: The availability section gives always access also to the bookings section

  • Payments. The Payments section allows the people you give editing access to:

    • see payments

    • export payments

    • create invoices

  • Maintenances. The Maintenances section, linked also to the Chat section, is dedicated to the maintenance professionals team. As this section is connected to RentYourNest, the tenant-facing web application, it is safe to give to your people access to the Chat section as well.

  • Calendar. This section is specific for:

    • your cleaning team: for them to organize their periodic cleanings

    • your check-in and check-out team: for them to organize their visits

      * Here we suggest you give them editing rights to the Chat section as well, in order for them to manage eventual conversations with tenants.

  • Chat. This section is dedicated to the people that communicate with tenants. Giving them editing rights allows these people to add documents as well.

When I give editing rights to the chat section to a maintenance professional, a cleaning agent, or any other, what is the displayed name on the chat of RentYourNest, the tenant-facing web application?

The tenants will see the name you input for the specific person. As an admin, you can change the name of the person from your Settings in the Users Management / API section.

  • Channel manager. This is the section from where you manage the synchronization with the listing portals you work with. It is safe to allow people working with both the Channel Manager and Availability section active.
